SP3282 -Intelligent +2.35V To +5.5V RS-232 Transceivers With Enhanced ESD

The SP3282EB device is an RS-232 transceiver solution intended for portable or hand-held applications such as notebook and palmtop computers, PDAs, cell phones and their data cables and cradles. The SP3282EB is compatible with low voltage Logic down to 1.8V using a Logic select pin (VL) which conditions the Logic inputs and outputs to be compatible with system Logic The SP3282EB uses an internal high-efficiency, charge-pump power supply that requires only 0.1 capacitors in 3.3V operation. This Charge Pump and Sipex's driver architecture allow the SP3282EB device to deliver compliant RS-232 performance from a single +3.3V to +5.5Vpower supply and additionally adhere to EIA/TIA-562 driver outputs levels down to a power supply voltage of 2.35V.
