Infrared Transceiver Module (SIR, 115.2 Kbit/s) ? For IrDA Applications

TFDU4101 The TFDU4101 transceiver is an infrared transceiver module compliant to the latest IrDA physical layer standard for fast infrared data Communication supporting IrDA speeds up to 115.2 kbit/s (SIR), and Carrier based remote control modes. Integrated within the transceiver module are a photo PIN Diode an infrared emitter (IRED), and a low-power control IC to provide a total front-end solution in a single package. This de vice covers the ful l I rDA range of more than 1 m using the internal intensity control. With one external current control resistor the current CAN be adjusted for shorter ranges saving operating current operating in IrDA low power mode.
