Among the three families of triple-output DC/DC converters in DATELs new A-Series, the 8-11W, 2" x 1" devices stand out as the industrys smallest full-featured triples. Housed in miniature 2" x 1" x 0.375", 5-side shielded, metal packages with electrically non-conductive coatings, these power converters offer non-latching output current limiting, input overvoltage shutdown (except D5A models), input reverse-polarity protection, and output overvoltage clamping to pro- tect both the power converters and their loads.
