Incorporated as Talema Electronic, LLC in July 2001, a spin-off from Amveco Magnetics, Inc., the company began operations as the exclusive North American agent for the Talema International Group, specializing in high frequency magnetics for switching power supplies, line filtering, LAN products, and telephony. Recognizing the need for a broader range of capabilities, the company negotiated strategic alliances with several Chinese suppliers, each specializing in various products that were not available through Talema International, including non-toroidal inductive components and complete power supplies (both encased and open styles, linear and switching). In keeping with the process of diversification, the company name was changed to AlfaMag Electronics LLC in January 2004. AlfaMag remains the exclusive North American agent for the Talema International Group. Data sheets for Talema high frequency products can be found on the company website, under the ‘Product Index’ link. Sales, distribution, engineering, and rapid prototyping facilities are centrally located in Rolla, Missouri. This allows the company to respond quickly and efficiently to customer needs. In most cases, prototypes can be manufactured within 24-48 hours in the Rolla prototyping laboratory. Production quantities will be manufactured by the Talema-India ISO 9000/2000 certified facility, or one or more of our approved Chinese partners (AlfaMag routinely sends engineering and administrative personnel to China, assuring our high quality standards are maintained). Shipping, currency exchange, communication with the factory, and other time consuming and often frustrating issues are handled easily and efficiently on your behalf. We always quote FOB Rolla, Missouri, unless you request otherwise. Our customers will often utilize our willingness to hold stock for them at the Rolla location, even on custom products (with firm blanket orders). We can ship weekly or monthly, whichever suits your production needs.
